I know that from my own experiences, meeting Ellen Von Einem Pugh, and seriously, Byron Katie reminds me of Ellen, because as well as the amazing way she's 'invented' she just oozes so much love towards people, she is so empathic...truly 'there' with them. Not only that, but she even gets everyone laughing about it, the humour when they see the ridiculous ness of any situation is truly wonderful !

I love her she should be awarded some incredible award for her excellent work...and the best thing is she makes it freely available for everyone !

yes, I'm getting there, I absolutely love painting when I start and I've already bought a canvass for this one...but so many other things to do atm anyway...here's some of the pictures I want to paint !

Icons, Cleansing, Imbolc

This is a blog I did in 2009, the paintings I enjoyed so much doing them and the idea of them. At the moment, for some reason, 'The Divine Feminine' is now extremely appropriate, it is about a freedom for all, with women stepping up to provide the balance, after such a long long time of imbalance of the whole world.

I read a blog the other day by a man, that really humbled me about how he recognised this in his relationship with a woman, it is nothing to do with being a feminist or being against men, it is simply 'balance' male female, black white, love hate, etc etc

Today, especially it has significance. Today I am thinking of a huge cleansing of my home, clearing away the old energies and preparing for a new year. When I say cleansing, I usually do this with burning sage (over a saucer so as not to set the place alight!) walking around every room, spreading the smoke into every corner, you can just do this with 'thinking' light if you wish, but I love the smell of sage. And today I think I shall probably do the cleansing around the perimeter of the garden too.

The result of doing this is incredibly subtle, but never the less you can feel the energy cleansed.

A CELEBRATION OF THE DIVINE FEMININE
I had never seen icons before, but when I did, I thought what an amazing idea – to put healing into a painting, and by the way, no, I am not a religous person. So I started painting them for individual people – I mean with them in mind and ended up with ten! If anyone is interested in commissioning one for themselves then let me know.

Icons were introduced in 300 ad in Byzanteum (Turkey). Constantine the Emperor of Rome, adopted Christianity, but also held Pagan beliefs. He declared Byzanteum the new Christian capitol . Mary, it is said spent the last years of her life in Ephesus (Turkey), and the first church dedicated to her was build there.

Icons are painted with love and prayers so that when they are looked upon you can connect to the healing qualities of that particular saint or master. This exhibition focused on the many faces or aspects of Mary as the feminine master. She represents love, compassion, tenderness, wisdom, intelligence, patience, peace, safety and love within our parenting decisions.

As your hearts open and are filled with love and compassion, the web within your heart increases. The feminine principle must come to the fore. Not in a feminist way but to balance the masculine. It is all about balance, men must find the sensitive within to keep the balance”

Clearing out others issues!

And just when you think everythings tidy...there's another messy bit in your head !

Well see the thing is...its not in my head, its in someone else's, but the trouble is and I've just realised is, that I'm accepting it...

I think it was the Dalai Lama who said about anger, someone can project anger towards you but it is up to you whether you accept it and take it, that is, seeing it as 'yours' or rather your issue, or you can NOT accept it, or internalise it

Now I understand this concept, I do, and I've only just realised that this may be what I was doing, so with mindfullness in hand, I do not accept this issue as mine, because its not, so I am sending it back to its rightfull owner for them to sort out, or not, it's nothing to do with me, but I will not pander to it because of that

Yesterday I was doing something online that wasn't coming from me, it was thinking about others issues, and then projecting that issue into a far wider circle ! How complicated lives can become when you start trying to change how you feel depending on someone else's issue?

I suddenly thought wow this person has got me doing this and thinking about what that person would think etc etc and in the end you become someone your not, pandering to them ! well I know this is a healing blog but b******s sometimes you have to say no - and I have no issue with this person, I think its a shame that we cannot all share the good things in our lives. I've never done anything wrong to this person, so none of it makes any sense, I think its just a control issue? don't know and its not mine anyway, thats for them to sort

So I had to change what I was doing online, into what I truly feel, which I have! So, know that I am completely without issue and whether or not its accepted by others that can be affected by the same issues, at least everyone knows me and how I feel about it all

If I cannot be me, which never deems to hurt anyone, then I'm not being true to myself and others. Maybe I have blamed in the past, but once again I was just in the firing line, looking on at the negative results for everyone concerned, but now is now, and when we own our stuff, we take our power back...So I'm taking it back and sending out love ! cause I know that love is the key...

Growth....

Growth...I can feel the growth...like the frost....creaking...there's something happening and I know it is, its almost palatable, a taste or an image....I love to stretch my creativity and just let go and follow where it leads me....when I work out where its taking me I'll let you know...but first it has to be born...it lays in the subconcious waiting for the time to burst out and surprise us all

And knowone knows what it will do....thats surely the beauty of being a creative?

I am free, where does the creativity come from, is it us or is it sent or picked up by us....no matter I am not in the mind of analysing, just observing at the moment...the clock ticks on...the tree tops frozen and white replaces the greeness...its like a cleansing of us all....a time to reflect and a time for inner growth

I surrender...to what may be brought to me....to what the universe has in store for me...and the only limits are the limits I place upon myself...so I let go and throw it up in the air symbolically released to the ethers...something is stirring and I can feel it

In my mind I have a crispness and a step up, polished, black and white, love black and white, this is not just an idea this is a whole form...I am an artist neither boxed in nor contained, I am excited in my own way...to share the evolution of my own creative force is absolutely the best...

Just ponderings from a creative....and BREATHE....the cleansing.....

   Wow its so easy to try and be superwoman especially when you passionate about what your doing, but we need to recharge.....we need to breathe the fresh air and just chill......

Hey yesterday I saw a red and black ladybird, I can't remember when I last saw one ! its that wonder and beauty that we should always be open to....the universe

So...when we feel anxious about all that we are doing, as the list piles up, even if its our passions, then we should let go really listen and maybe reflect, step back and take a new view point - stay open to what you may recieve........

YES I've been reading The Passion Test book by Janet Bray Attwood and Chris Attwood
     and yes its brilliant........!

I remember reading once an artical of Deepak Chopra oh or maybe it was Wayne Dyer, Oh well it dosn't really matter who said it, but they said that you can only read so many books in one lifetime, so you might as well make them good ones, trouble is you don't know how good they are until youve read them! And I don't know about you, but it also matters where you are in your 'head and life' as to whether you 'get it' or not !!

But I'd never thought of a limit in my life of reading books, I love reading, so at the moment its the one above and Lynne Franks Absolutely Now

I read a little of it online and its just so well written and a lot of humour in it for what can be a dry subject, psychology I'm talking about ! oh well must get on, now what was I doing ?

The Passion Test

It is amazing, well Jenni is pretty cool as well, such a dedicated lovely lady - spreading her wonderful light whatever she touches ! see the new Passion Secret magazine in the right hand column

It has helped me amazingly, well, its all to do with focusing once again ! but its a great tool to really focus...because that is what this new world is all about....Whatever you put your attention too will increase ....so there we are...and if you want something to change in your world then you have to do something different ! to change it !

We must never underestimate our minds, thoughts and what they can do to us - in an extreme way concentrating on the negative or illness you may have will just increase and impound upon it......
Dis-ease is just that, and as much as its difficult not to focus on it sometimes, if we carry on we will carry on round in that loop....

The passion test concentrates us on our passions, what fires us up what talks to our spirit and soul or why we are here and what we came to do.

The “nun study” outlined on the first page of Seligman’s book Authentic Happiness: Using the New Positive Psychology to Realize Your Potential for Lasting Fulfillment describes how different nuns of a sample of 180 told their life stories: those that described the world in optimistic terms and using positive emotions tended to live longer.

The nun that used feeling words about what she was doing lived longer than the other, who appeared to be going through the motions, seemingly unengaged in her passion. In fact the one was still around in her 90's and the other died of a stroke in her late 50's!

What was so good about this study was that as they were nuns they all lived a similar life, so I guess it was easier to compare. Oh and yes, I suppose its not taking into account personal relationships, having children and living in a normal society...

As I wrote that I thought .....what is a normal society?....yes we all want freedom....freedom of choice .....but sometimes that is not possible....so we have to work within our own paradimes ...but no matter where we are or how things are, we ALL have the ability to dream or to change our habits....to change our own world....In fact if we all concentrated on making our own lives perfect, because we cannot 'make' others change, they have to do that themselves

We are the only ........(fill in the blanks !) that has consciouness....we can dream...we can be sat in a busy street dreaming of being on a beach feeling the sand between our toes....our thoughts are powerfull and reach out in this universe farther than we realise....we are all connected

It is amazing how if you focus on a particular thing, it arrives for you.....you don't always need money to have what you want, and strange how sometimes money just appears from mid air when you need it if you are on the right course....has that happened to you ? it has me - Its
about being clear

If you concentrate on the......

         PASSION........................

then the

                Way of doing it will turn up..............................
                either that or something even better !!!

So get Dreaming.......................lets create a better world

Sometimes just being is so important...I know in my experience Ive looked out for guidance and sometimes it has been excellent, but sometimes it can split us into going into different directions that may not be the right path for ourselves at that time. We are all on different paths, and ultimately I think we are to a certain degree led, by what or who, or our own intuition I don't think it matters what it is called, just that we react to it sometimes.

I know that when things happen we don't understand that we are possibly going through a learning, and sometimes that can be difficult, and we wonder who is in control here, and I've been a good person why did this happen etc. Its not really about that, life is like a school and its about evolving and growing and spreading love and light for a peaceful world - sometimes we'll only really listen when we want real help.

There are some that say that before we are born we have already agreed to go through the things we do in our lives, karma they call it, or destiny? who knows, I never feel I truly know and am always surprised by how things work out sometimes. Then, if you look back its strange how things could have been different if this or if that, and the path that is drawing you along.

I always like to think that when I notice sycronicities that I am on the right course, strange to think we have all the choice in the world, but do we?

One step forward two steps back !

Dont you feel sometimes its like that, one step forward and two steps back? If its something worthwhile it can take a long time to get together, so you have to do it little by little (there's a song!) to eventually get there...thats what its like at the moment for me.
I'm really moving towards the music, not that I've ever given up on it, but it feels so enjoyable at the moment. I'm working on the website and a new idea that just ticks every box for me!

Do you find that your always trying to explain what you are about, and you get there and then it all changes? is that the beauty of an artist in this world? the fact that ideas are always changing and evolving?

I can never imagin not being an artist, hey I've just bought a canvass to do a painting as well, as if I'm not doing enough eh! and I'm looking forward to doing that too...

So...gently gently does it moving forward in the big big wide world...and having great fun can't be bad...oh well yes I do need to learn some patience !

So...a guy has been had up for giving vegetables away from his backyard! I just cannot get my head around this and its very difficult to be 'positive' when you see such ridiculous and 'money grabbing' stuff, but ultimately worse from authorities who are supposed to be 'guiding' us???

What if we all grew vegetables and gave them away, or even sold the surplus? We'd have organic produce grown in our own area (no incoming diseases)

What if we fed people that may not have enough money to survive? we would spread kindness and compassion to those that need it

What if we created a caring community by doing it? A support system for families and their children

What if by doing it we created an infrastructure of caring for those in need, like the elderly or ill ? supporting and caring for people in the community

What if we grew produce that provides food and and homes for the birds, so that our local bird population dosn't decline any more?

What if we spread LOVE AND COMPASSION around the earth, maybe there would be no wars ?

I wish at this moment I could be positive about MANKIND but there seems to be two sorts, one who wants to protect our planet and one who sets out to do all to destroy it, and I'm praying the first will be able to teach the second before before the scale is tipped, so we can all live abundantly as we should

Is this a Damselfly? It seemed to be asleep on the hedge, which is why I got a chance to take a pic of it ! Its beautiful anyway....and the metamorphis that these creatures go through, from a grub to a beautiful irridesent flying creature....amazing !

It got me thinking that we have that ability too...to change ourselves to reveal our true beauty...if we allow ourselves to grow and learn by our growth.

You see, we all have challenges and problems, but I suppose its the way you deal with them and what you come out with in growth that matters in the end, so that you can then move on...and forward...

and not go backwards ! though sometimes you can catch yourself doing that...but thats okay...its hard to completely change in a second, sometimes you have to 'train' your mind not to accept those negative thoughts and it can take a while...

Replace the negative thoughts with positive ones....every time you think of something negative....purposefully change it to positive. I know this can feel not real, but it does work in the end, treat your chattering mind like a naughty child, thats not the real you, the real beautiful you inside is positive, happy and irridessant......

Whose house is this?

Desk moved...its a bit like being in another house, and the one room looks so much like an office, my husband is knocking before he comes in ! hey well thats better than the usual traffic, the dog, the cat while I'm trying to work, the endless visitors - he says now it feels like he dosn't know where I am !

I'm in my office, doing very importent workery...NO I'm not sitting there with my feet on the desk with a box of chocolates and a glass of wine - now there's a thought - must get some flowers for my room I love flowers.

I'm amazed with a little vision and feng shui, how different it can 'FEEL' Oh gosh I must have pressed the 'feel the energy' button somewhere and now there's no going back. Things will never be the same again, and I'm working on the principle of, if your life is not right then you have to 'change' something, and feng shui is one way to do it.

I'm still working on the wardrobe section, well the wardrobe is done, but then there are cupboards of clothes that still need going through, maybe today. And I've been really good in altering things that I like but there's always something that just does not work for me, so CHANGE it!

So...check out your office, towards the back of the house, no L shape desks, back against a solid wall, opposite corner from door, no shelves around you, a decent sized desk, plant or flowers on south side of desk, comfortable desk, tidy, clean, bright, UNCLUTTERED YEAHHHH ...I FEEL GOOD....

De Cluttering my wardrobe !

Well it got to the stage of the hangery pole bending in the middle and I still cannot find anything to wear !

So...Just pulled everything out and asked, is it in good condition? does it fit me? do I LOVE IT ?
hey that works really well !

But then I hung the clothes up in casual, going out, and smart and then I can instantly see better what else I need to get to have all elements.

And now....its a week later and I have all these clothes everywhere, a pile of things to alter, still clinging on...to well I could alter it ARRRRRGGG !

So today is a new day, and I'm really going to be ruthless....I've been looking at Feng Shui, always been interested in it because it works ! Its all about energy and how it moves around your house, which to me makes sense.

You know when you put a piece of furniture somewhere and think 'hey thats just so right there' well, its feeling like that with everything and placing things in the optimum position for the areas of your home that relate to your finances, wealth, health, love and every part of your life !

Yes I know it sounds airy fairy, but believe me it does work...So hence the wardrobe clear out, clutter is bad anywhere ! It stops progress in your life in all areas !

You have to work out your 'number' which is from your birthdate and then apply that to the different directions of your house.

So, moved my bed, de-cluttered my clothes, moving my work desk ....no wonder I'm tired after this week! But its all good and positive, when you see and feel the changes its unbelievable !

Stopping smoking

Thought Field Therapy T.F.T.

This teqnique was developed by Dr Roger callahan, it uses the acupuncture points in the body to stop cravings. If you follow the instructions completely your craving will vanish. Its important that you continue thinking about your craving whilst doing it. What it does is it re-programs your brain to bypass your cravings. It might sound silly, but it works!

1. Focus on what you are craving. On a scale of 1 - 10 (10 being the highest) how strong is your craving?

2. Now think about that craving and take two fingers of either hand and tap about 10 times firmly above one of your eyes.

3. Now tap under the eye.

4. Tap under your collarbone.

5. Keep thinking about your craving and tap under your armpit.

6. Put your other hand in front of you and tap on the back of it between the knuckles of your ring finger and your little finger.

7. Open your eyes - now close them

8. Keep tapping, open your eyes, look down to the right and down to the left

9. Keep tapping, rotate your eyes round 360 degrees clockwise and then 360 degrees anti-clockwise

10.Still thinking of your craving, hum the first few lines of 'Happy Birthday' out loud

11.Count out loud from 1 to 5

12.Once again hum 'Happy Birthday' out loud

13.Repeat the beginning of the sequence. Tap under each eye about ten times

14.Tap under your collarbone

15.Now tap under your armpit

Now stop and take a reading of your craving on a scale of 1 - 10. If your craving hasn't completely gone, go through the sequence until it does, it may take 2 or 3 times.
Repeat this process whenever you feel the need.

Yes I know this does sound crazy !! but when I gave up smoking about 4 years now, it did work!

The Love list

Love em or hate em, which I know some people do, I just cannot get over the outpouring of LOVE energy from the royal wedding. Thats what its all about, LOVE and they, Wills and Kate, genuinly love eachother that is plain to see. Whether you dislike what the royals all stand for, I cannot help but join in in the romance of it.

I decided not to watch it, but then halfway through the day I switched the telly on and they were at that moment saying 'I do' what timing that was !! THAT is what it is all about, showing everyone of the love that they share and to me, wow that is so positive in the world. It made me wonder if we televised all weddings, whether there would be an outpouring of LOVE energy coverering this world.

I love romance, I love gorgeous things, as a princess she was perfect, looking beautiful in her dress and tiara. We girls, have grown up dressing in 'princess' dresses, dreaming of our princes, and some of us lucky ones have found them.

I wish them every joy and happiness, and I truly believe that there is the perfect someone for everyone out there...Here's an exersise that you can do if your looking for that special partner !

Make a list...... what you want for your perfect partner !

Ok, be very specific....

Describe what they look like, what their interests would be (hopefully similar to yours?) really think about what YOU want in a partner

The more detail you can give the better, do you want someone with a sense of humour, someone practical, do they like cooking, socialising...try to think of everything and yes even that!

What sort of personal relationship do you want, everyone has different ideas, and as long as you 'think' the same way then that is the key.

Now comes the most importent part...don't forget to list that special 'spark' between you, romance and love. Otherwise you may attract someone who is perfect, but it just isn't happening, the attraction won't be there !

Okay, so make the list, forget about it and see what happens! Do NOT make the list, then keep asking why it hasn't happened yet, let the wish fly away, and you will soon see results !

I did this once with the healing group, Kate listed everything about her perfect man, someone interested in science but also into ecology, travel and farming, tall sensitive, interesting ect you get the idea

Two days later a chap rang me up interested in my hypnotherapy and particularly past life regression which has been very popular as a healing tool. He explained a bit about who he was, into science, travels etc etc, but he also helps out on someones farm...etc

I put the phone down...and that afternoon, yes it took me that long! I realised he was Kates perfect man! I know this sounds like a tall order but I can assure you it works!!! try it and see

Clarity and Purpose there has to be a Reason !

Clarity and purpose...thats what I've been thinking about, and you know its hard to change any routine youve got yourself into, thinking wise I'm talking about. I've seen in the past what that can bring, I know what positive thought can do, and yet...actually doing it and being aware of it and changing it all the time can be exhausting !!

I'm on a roll, you know when you feel, yeah its all coming together, moving forward, great things happening that you'd never think would! There has to be a reason...whats my reason? Because I 'feel' the music and creativity, because I've got something to say, because the creativity of music touches my heart so deeply, very often I just cannot put these things into words and that is why I use music.

Don't you find that words are a poor substitute for the soul? they never quite 'touch' what your trying to put across, I love words, I have boxes of words in my garage. Maybe its the combination of words and voice and orchestration that to me sometimes, and only 'sometimes' says what I really want to say. Words are man made, is that why they don't quite suffice?

So...I continue trying to find those words 'and who does it matter too anyway' well me in the first place. Its like trying to remember a dream that is on the tip of your tounge, that the more you think of it the further away it flies. I wonder sometimes that if I could adequately use the words to my satisfaction, whether I would ever write another song? But then, thats the beauty of life, its always changing, evolving, and I truly believe we are living in an exciting time, or is that my exciting time?

Are all our views mearly of our own different 'worlds' ...probably

OMG now I'm following myself on blogger! I'm quite an intelligent woman you know, I know how to record an album myself in the studio, I'm studying to be a counsellor, I am very well read, play a few instruments, can make clothes, paint, love writing, built a website, on several networks, hypnotherapy, but blogger?

Yesterday, I was there socialising, on the net and subscribing to interesting people, today I find I've subscribed to my own blog! but not just one NO both of them! and I can't get 'me' off !! Now it looks so embarrasing like I can't get enough of myself - so someone help me please save me from having 2,000 subscribers and there all ME!

I don't want to fight 'battles' but they keep appearing daring me to take them on, and oh yeah I'll look into that one, yeah it needs someone to do something about that, someone really needs to...and I go into it and realise that it just takes aways from 'me' who I am. If your not carefull you can dedicate all your time and life to this to that and what for? watching your life being eaten up by this injustice or that one?

No...I won't pick it up, because I've already got my dreams my 'destiny' my 'ME' what better way to send the message but with art and music and, you know my healing, my training to become someone who can hopefully, enable people to make better choices in their lives! that is adding to the world in my own small way, I say small, but not belittling what I do, but I am just one small cog in the whole world.

As a musician, I find myself writing about my own inner journey of the great journey of life, what it teaches you with reflection and hopefully wisdom somewhere in there. I've always been someone intuitive with other peoples direction, sometimes unseeing of my own, but I suppose we are all capable of that.

Leave those battles for those who are passionate about them, and keep own passion amongst my creativity and music that others maybe cannot do...when will I learn that I cannot do it all, I might want to but its physically imposible, so...I'll sing about it instead...thats me...I know my place...! passionately

I'm a trainee Counsellor, I've been studying for around 4 years now! it will be 5 by the time I've qualified - meanwhile, I am a qualified hypnotherapist and do practise, though I'm not advertising at the moment,because the counselling assignments are taking a lot of my time up, I've been running a healing/self awareness group for 8 years now, which I have stopped for the moment because I want to approach it in a different way.

So...I read this morning, not of course that I would read such tripe as OK magazine, mmm what to read this morning OK or Irvin D Yalom mmm - that Simon Cowell has suggested to Cheryl Cole that she should get a 'Life Coach' to help her battle her 'dark moods' Oh is that what its called now, and I've been studying all this time and not known that 'Counsellor' is an old fashioned term?

So...what does is the difference between a counsellor and a life coach? well, a counsellor dosn't give advice, they 'facilitate' (I hate that word!) change by being there as a soundboard using unconditional regard, so that the client finds their own answers. It believes, Person Centered Counselling, that the client is the master of their own life. Now obviously, its a lot more complicated than that, but to explain it would take about 5 years!

So...I've just read a coaching book and yes its based on much the same theory, its promoting self awareness using all the counselling tools. So why does counselling have a more serious tone to it - its the word isn't it. To me Counselling sounds like you'd really better have a real specific problem and life coaching sounds more like having a trainer to help you through everyday life.

With my experience with the awareness group, and the hypnotherapy, both are about 'putting people back on track' and I have experienced some startling moments, which of course I cannot share with you because of confidentiality.

So... Life Coach, Hypnotherapy, Self awareness groups, Counselling - they are all a means to an end, they all are about the person who wants to change or understand their life, thoughts or behavoirs. I find it all so fascinating, as I find people fascinating, how unique we all are, whether your reading a Stanford University proffessor's book such as Irvin Yalom, or OK magazine, its all about people - from every spectrum, walk of life, people are amazing and you can learn so much from them.

Momma and the meaning of life

I'm reading another book by Irvin D. Yalom called 'Momma and the meaning of life' The first story addresses our need to satisfy our parents.

I remember this one, a long time ago, up until my Father died, and then it struck me how much I had been doing things to 'make them proud of me' Ever since then I have always done things primarily for myself, or to please myself.

The book tells the story of how his mother was so proud of his 'writings' when obviously, she was not even a 'reader'and had never even read them, but just carried around the volumnes as 'special' Of course, as parents we are all 'proud' of our children, and my son questions the fact that we'd be proud no matter what he did? yes we would its true - but that is in an unconditional way, probably what weve learnt from being children desparately wanting to make our parents proud.

And in the book, he really wants his mum to understand what it is that he actually does, but of course, she never would, unless she was studying the same as him. It is always an unsatisfying quest that unless we came from a whole line of doctors or psychiatrists etc, then chances are that our parents won't be on the same page or thinking or knowledge as us! (not meant in a derogatory way)

So, why is it that we have this urge to make our parents proud? is it that they showed us how to be, our teachers of the world and we want them to think 'good' of us, why do we value that so much.

Its only when your free of those feelings that I think you can truly become yourself, maybe thats a part of growing up, feeling proud yourself of your achievements. Satisfaction in doing something well, whatever it is, your attention to detail and being in the moment and being happy with whatever your doing. Be happy with whatever your doing, enjoy the moment!

Love is the biggest force in the Universe

Sometimes it takes a bigger disaster to make us see whats happening in the world, I'm talking about Japan obviously, and all our hearts go out to those going through this terrible devastation. I am praying along with everyone else, the internet yet again has bought us all closer, we can see whats going on and get inside information, hearing from real people about 'how' they feel and whats going on day to day in their lives and how they are coping. I read an amazing 'diary' a comment on facebook of a Japanese woman and how it is making her feel, what she is going through. To me, its these documents that show us true life and not the media coverage.

It makes me realise how wonderful the human spirit is, how tough yet vulnerable, trusting, emotional yet utterly beautiful human beings are. You only have to see the Akshaya Trust video in my previous post to validate this.

That video touched me, more than I can ever say, maybe that video opened my heart more, I don't know how or what happened, but, here we are in the 21st century and there are still people on our planet who are starving! and most of us are unaware of it

So, when something as huge as the Japanese earthquake happens, we all feel OMG! and rightly so, but OMG! there are so many other matters to deal with on this earth that are not being thought about.

Thats why I want to help collect some funds for this trust - I feel that as human beings we have a responsibility to help others, as I am not financially abundant, though I do have food, I thought the next best thing is to offer some of my music as a way of making some revenue for the cause.

To be honest, anything I try to write to explain sounds incongruent...I believe we do have the power to change some things and if we join together then we can change so many more things...

No matter where you are, and what is happening to you, your family are the most important 'purpose' in your life, having children the most wonderful teacher in the universe and that is a great purpose and 'why' in your life. But there's always a feeling of wanting to do more than that, maybe its shifting our awareness to realising that as a human 'race' as the song goes 'everybody hurts sometimes' and everybody needs a helping hand from another fellow human being sometimes. I believe in that - that leads me back to my mentor Ellen Von Einem and her words, 'Love is the biggest force in the universe'

Inspirations

Strange, I invited someone to my website http://www.sallyhope.co.uk/ to help me with marketing....so then....I looked at the site and could imediately see things wrong with it....some people do that....its called mirroring - I never take these things as negative, I see them as positive, there is just so much to learn and I'm up for all the help I can get. So...look out for some changes ...I always seem to be trying to 'pull' everything together, because I end up separating things like music and healing, but I truly think they come from the same place - So they are destined to go back together

In Counselling, you get mirroring issues and transferential issues, when you identify with someone too much so that it becomes your issue, or reminds you of a similar issue that youve had. No-one wants to hear, 'oh yeah I had that same thing' and sometimes we are blind to ourselves, so its quite interesting to become an observer of yourself for a moment if at all possible and to benefit from that psychology.

So...Big plans afoot...on to the next chapter...

There's cleansing then there's clutter!

I am one of those people who cannot be creative or work or whatever unless the house is orderly - don't know where thats come from, just that if my 'home' is a mess, its kind of like I can't 'think'. Maybe its because I have studied Feng Shui (a little) and I am sensitive to energies around us, and I know Feng Shui is a bit unbelievable but if you try it then, it does actually work !

CLUTTER ! there I've said it ! it fills your home, it creeps into corners, it sits there and you start not to even notice it, a bookcase of books that to be honest come from the 'dark ages' - there not even relevant any more - okay, I can see the point if you collect antique books, but not everyone has the room for stuff that is not relevant to their life!

Amazon, on line shopping, we don't even have to go out of the house to buy more 'stuff' It'll arrive with the postman and then all we have to do is find a 'space' for it ! amongst the other stuff !!!!

I had a leak in the roof the other week, it drenched a lot of my books, it was my 'money' corner ha! talking Feng Shui here - 'as you look into your house from the front door - the farthest corner from you to the left' I was really cross, my books are my treasure's - but its strange I went through them and there were so many that I hadn't looked at or were not relevant any more, so I chucked a lot out, and don't forget to take them to the charity shop so you can pile all your stuff on someone else!!

I re-painted the room - I'm really getting into minimilasation as far as houses, which is difficult to achieve, if you saw our 'very old quirky house' ha ! After I finished, it looked sleek, clean, and very much like a 'counselling' room - topical since I'm a trainee counsellor learning the ways.

Now, I do have a little room I created outside 'a healing room', but its freezing at the moment and I don't want to use extra heat - so now, I've got a room in the house to do my absent healing, hypnotherapy or meditation which is great !

So...go through those things that have been collecting over the years, and if you come across something someone bought you, and youve always hated it, then get rid of that too! its liberating, freeing and opens the doors to new positive oportunities.....happy cleaning

Everyone seems to be having a hard time of it at the moment, I think there's a huge cleansing going on and it seems to be testing every part of your life. I wish I could write my story at the moment, but its early days and not really my story, I'm just on the periferal of it, but it has been a huge learning curve for me and my family.

I think you probably already know that I am studying to become a person centered counsellor. Interesting enough, that is changing too! suddenly our assignments have been changed by the powers that be. Which makes me think that all this stuff flying about is even bigger than I first thought and no coincidence.

What this means is that I have even more work to do, I had practicly finished the first assignement and now have to go back over it. It sounds simple, but with the added 'cleansing' it makes it difficult for me to really get the space to get back down to work.

I suppose, I just have to go with the flow, there seems to be so much to do just within the house, to keep up with needs, storm damage and all the other house things that need doing...it seems never ending sometimes...but it feels like were getting there...

And then came calm....

Sometimes I write blogs of my 'morning pages' what just comes into my head and how I am feeling, then I delete it all ! I don't think I really have to share it with the rest of the world, but I feel like I've got it out of my head and that is quite therapeutic.

When do we really get a chance to say what we feel, except hopefully to our partner in life. Its the 'feeling' that is the true 'where we are' at that moment, we don't have to justify it, it is 'ours' already. In the Counselling world it is called immediacy 'in the moment' it mirrors our thought processes in that very instant which can be revealing, challenging but most of all it can help us to move forward.

Move forward or to sweep away old thoughts that need to be let go.....

Then came the calm.....this morning....seashells on the beach, white beach stones.....turquoise sky...whitewashed walls....egg blue colours....peace.....stillness.....water lapping the shore....glorious....gentle.....

thats what I am stepping into this morning......in my mind

The Humming Ball

This is a very effective exercise that we have used in our healing group, the energy really seems to really build. I originally found it from Diana Cooper, but omitted the 'humming' and it still seemed to work really well.

You can use it to heal relationships, bathe someone in love, abundance, prosperity, wisdom or healing. Like meditations or invocations this exercise opens you up. You always need to close down as indicated at the end (you can do this by imagining the chakras closing and putting a blue cloak of protection around your shoulders)

1. Sit quietly on your own or with others, and decide where you wish to send the energy and what quality you wish to send.
2. Place your hands in front of you as if they were holding a ball.
3. Ask the angels to work with you.
4. focus on seeing the quality that you wish to send filling the ball you are holding. As you do so hum softly (if you wish) and imagine a colour expanding the ball.
5. When your humming ball is vibrating with the qualitiies and love you wish to offer, picture the person to whom you are projecting it, and imagine them receiving it.
6. Close down the chakras, see them closing like a flower and imagine a blue cloak of protection around your shoulders.

The Universe is Your Dog

Talk about the universe answering you ! I just experienced one of those moments when you meet up with a proffessional who comes over as 'IT' - the manner, confidence, the outfit, the pure 'I am completely confident in every single way and can handle everything thats ever thrown at me!' I mean this woman was amazing, but she made me feel less so myself....

And what did I do?

I felt myself retracting, like a little girl, not daring to speak, not as confident, smart, sophisticated etc etc - why do we do these things to ourselves? and why do we compare ourselves in this way?

So...Then I get this latest gem from Christine Kane - Its just a matter of 'when' I shall do a live program with her because I think she is brilliant !

so....here we are.....

The Dog Whisperer

One of the fun assignments in my Uplevel Your Life Mastery Program is what I call "Mental Dress Up."

This is a game that you can play daily. It is designed to bring intentions to life by literally embodying them in your own being.

Here's how it works:

Take a few moments throughout your day and Be [Fill in the Blank with Desired Thing].

As you're driving you can become a published writer. What would that feel like? When you're at a party, try being someone that everyone wants to talk to. Be wise. Be someone who has so many clients, you can hardly get through a day without turning people down. Be someone who is certain of what she wants. What does that feel like?

Don't get all scrunchy-faced and try to VISUALIZE - which is a very high-pressure word.

Instead feel the effortless shift in you, and BE successful. BE a fun person. BE wealthy. BE a rock star. Whatever!

My client Isabella started using this technique when she decided to "be someone who loves to run with her dog in the morning." She was amazed at the results.

Typically after a few blocks of running, she'd start wheezing and feel awful. But when she became "someone who loved running with her dog," she had more stamina and felt great during the run. She got better and better at this game until she actually began to love running with her dog!

One morning, she was returning from a run. Another dog and his owner were walking in her direction. Isabella's dog, Bruno, is still healing from an abusive past and can be aggressive with other dogs. So, Isabella started to get anxious, clinging to Bruno's leash.

Then, she remembered Mental Dress Up.

Instead of getting nervous and reacting to her dog's bad behavior, she focused on how calm she felt and how much she loved her dog. She also played Mental Dress Up on Bruno, feeling that he was always very loving and peaceful around other dogs.

It worked! Bruno was fine. He followed her energy, and they both headed home without incident. To Isabella, this was a nice little miracle.

At this same time, Isabella was beginning a new business. She had experienced a whole range of emotions from enthusiasm to fear to excitement to disappointment during the process. At one point, she met with her accountant. The accountant was skeptical, issuing warnings to Isabella about the numbers and telling her the reasons why the business wouldn't work.

During our coaching call, she shared these stories - about the triumph with her dog, and about the discouragement from her accountant. She wanted to know how to deal with her emotions after this deflating meeting.

Here's what I told her:

I said, "Your accountant is your dog."

Huh?

It's true!

People follow your energy. It doesn't matter if they are mentors, accountants, lawyers, audience members, listeners, friends, or customers. People follow your energy, just like dogs. You always have a choice to step up and lead them. Just like Cesar Millan has been telling dog owners for years. And just like Bruno showed Isabella in that one situation.

I told her that the success of her business would always be up to her. I told her that every business owner, artist or entrepreneur experiences bad news, good news, depression, loss, gain and insecurity. The decision to quit, fail, or succeed is always hers.

In that moment, her accountant might have sensed her fear and found all the negative stuff he could muster up to dissuade her. He became her dog and followed her energy.

You don't have to be a Jedi master to tap into someone's emotional state of being. You just have to be human. Had Isabella been feeling confident, most likely the accountant would have presented his views in a different light.

Ultimately, during our coaching call, I told Isabella this:

"The Universe is your dog."

Everything and everyone follows the energy and emotional state you bring to it. Decide that you can do something, and the Universe follows that decision. Choose to radiate love and wisdom, and the Universe follows that radiance. This is not always an easy place to go. But it almost always teaches us about our own power to create or transform any situation.

Healing Book

Yes, I do have a real life healing book and I am putting everyone who asks for healing in it. It is kept in a special place amongst some of my special crystals, though, to me it is the 'intent' more than items that matters, I think in the end its about what 'matters' to yourself or rather what you 'believe'

I find a Healing Book really focus's energies. I thought I'd write this, because I don't want it to look like I'm neglecting the absent healing group if I don't make a comment...I will always be directing healing energies, in some ways it feels like I'm aware of this all of the time, in everything I do - maybe its the changing energies that are happening at the moment, but I feel like I'm more merged with thought.

Its very difficult to explain, or maybe its a change within me, but it feels everything I do is merged with this energy! does that make any sense? I suppose music is a spiritual medium anyway, but its more like the energy of the world has been lifted a little, though, I have been through it over the holidays as I know a lot of people have, but overall, there is something almost palatable about the energy.

Its kind of like, although tough things may happen, there is ultimately something offering light, positivity, energy, something good especially for this year, I'm talking globally here - as though there is a real true beginning of the world joining together as one... Lets make this year an uplifting one for all of us...

Word of the Year

This is a brilliant idea I think, instead of a New Years Resolution, to think of a Word that resonates with you. Its more about 'being' than 'what I'm going to do and I may fail' Its more about a word that 'feels' something to you, instead of 'I'm going to diet' or 'give up smoking' Oh come on be honest to yourself, are you really going to lose two dress sizes, and at what pressure your putting on yourself !

I have to be honest, I'm trying to find myself out of a series of things happening at the moment, not really anything that I can do about it but ride the storms and try and stay 'up' in the water, for myself and everyone else that it affects. But there is, within me always a sight of something bright and I have chosen my word for the year which is UNIQUE.

I have finished with anything that wasn't working, looking at it all from another angle, because who I am and what I do is still UNIQUE but it just needs handling in a different way. I am as ever the eternal optimist and will always find a way, I suppose because who I am is who I am and I cannot change that, deep down, not that I want to, but I am more collecting 'who I am' together and re-formatting it. That 'spark' of creativity that is within me and defines me is what is importent to me and to this world inevitably (family and friends are not included in this definition, cause obviously THEY rule above anything)

Now this is getting very complicated, but it needs defining to me. UNIQUE seems to be a very good word at this moment and I shall endeavour to rejoice in my uniqueness throughout the coming year !

Absent Healing

What does Absent Healing mean to me? I first came across an absent healing group from a wonderful lady called Ellen Von Einem Pugh. She ended up saving my life, and teaching me her 'Deep Relaxation with Attitudinal Therapy' or hypnotherapy, but that is digressing that was many years ago. I have always felt that it is such an important positive thing to do in the world that ever since, I have always endeavoured to be a part of a group since, because I know how well it works.

What Ellen taught me was that this world is tied together with energy or chi, prana or whatever you want to call it but we like to call it LOVE. Why because, love is always the way forward with any sort of arguement, disagreement and dis-ease. I believe it is what the energy of the universe is made up of, so if you need healing you can literally 'connect' up to that energy and re-align yourself.

So, when you think of someone who needs healing and you see, or imagin, them positively and sending them love, that healing energy will be sent to any situation or person.

So, I always try to cleanse the room with some burning sage - just walk around the perimeter of the room with the intent of peace and light. I like the sage smoke, and afterwards you can really 'feel' the difference, we can get negative vibrations in our houses from Television, disagreements, negative people, but I always think its like, well you do your housework and clean, well this is like cleaning the 'spirit' of the house. Anyway, you can use the sage or you can just simply 'imagin' or use salt, or a joss stick - but now I'm digressing again, this is a whole other subject!

I usually light a candle, it kind of feels like a respectfull ceremony if you like, an intention, and I 'think' of grounding myself - another whole topic! - but just imagining roots out of the bottom of your feet going into the earth, will do.

I always 'protect' myself by imagining myself in a bubble of light or a blue cloak around my shoulders, just so you can easily keep on a positive vibration, or you can call upon a 'master' to help you such as Archangel Michael or any master you may feel an infinity with, you may just want to ask your guide. Then, just sending healing love by seeing people you know 'better' or it being recieved by people you don't know - the universe has it all worked out believe me! So, if I have a book or a list of people then the healing is directed to them wherever they are and whatever they need.

Sometimes, I'll imagin a 'healing energy ball' like I'm holding a big ball and projecting the healing into it, see it as a colour and 'feel' it humming with energy waiting to be sent off - you can do this for one person or for a group of people, sometimes these energy balls have been 'seen' by the people they've been sent to.

Or sometimes I will just 'sit' and think of people and send them healing, its like meditation really, so here's the order...

1.Cleanse the room
2.Sit in a quiet place
3.Light a candle
4.Ground yourself
5.Protect yourself
6.Be still, sending out love

Some people have difficulty in just sitting or meditating, I think sometimes, they try too hard, so...just be in your thoughts and if other thoughts railroad in (which they will!) let them, and then they'll go and you can bring it back to what you are doing - sending out love - the intent is the key

So, having written what Absent Healing means to me I now realise that there is so many more topics within this, but that is why the subject is fascinating as with any subject the depths of the knowledge that is there. Maybe I'll write about these other topics another day ....

The 3 Rules of Abundance

I believe, I do, do I? I believe dont I do I ? ha it's a bit like that isn't it. You think, no it can't be that simple surely until it happens and then you think WOW! thats amazing and then, how did I do that? what am I talking about 'The Law of Attraction' having been intersted in how this works for a long time and not really having any results and wondering why, for it then to be working is just amazing!

Its like having a magic wand though, you shake the wand for something and what appears is something just slightly different ? Its a bit like being Mary Poppins on a bad day! I say I havn't had any results before but that's not really true, I have but I've had absolutely no idea what I did to get them, they just happened coincidentally, but if your not sure what your doing then you don't know what your doing right, right?

So, I think I know what I'm doing and its a strange coincidence that I am working in the studio on the last track of the new album, an Abundance song ! maybe the song is the 'ingredient' if it is...then you'd better order the new album now and get working on it.

The 'secret' began to package it up didn't it, brought it to the people, made it 'okay' to believe in magic. I must admit I've always believed in magic ever since as a little girl I remember the jigsaw I had of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs with the little house in the forest, where do I live? you guessed it and no I don't live with seven dwarfs thank you, just glad that part of the wish didn't come true, though that wasn't the part of the picture that impressed me! It was the home sweet home cute house amongst nature.

So, get out that old dusty trunk, shake off the cobwebs, get out your magic wand (figuratively speaking of course !) and start creating your own magic and abundance.

Okay here's the main 3 rules for this particular magic trick...

1. Feel It

2. Let it Go

3. Do not think of what you do Not want

I'll explain....

1.Get a picture in your head of whatever you want, dreamm or you know when you were in school and the teacher would suddenly say 'Sally I've been talking to you for five minutes and your not listening' no you weren't you were DAY DREAMING you'd gone off and were living whatever was in your head, but the main thing is that you were 'FEELING IT' like it was already there and happening, like a dream.

One thing I find is uesfull is to cut up pictures and stick on a 'vision board' or scrapbook of what you want and put it in a place where you will keep seeing it, so that you are focusing on it all the time. Jezz and I have used this for years, particularly when needing new equipment for the studio !

2.Okay, so , when youve done that then and this is the difficult part, you have to 'LET IT GO' stop thinking of, well its been a week so far and nothings happened? or where is my so and so? and also remember its like the joke of the guy sat on top of the house during a flood, a boat comes along and offers him to get in and he says 'no thanks the universe is going to save me' then a helicopter hovers over but he dosn't climb up the rope ladder, then he's only got a small space left on the roof and he beseeches the universe by saying 'where are you I asked you to save me?' he heard a voice saying, 'well I sent you a boat and a helicopter but you refused them !'

So, what I'm saying is forget about it, but leave the door open to it appearing, and it can appear in many ways, but don't try to figure out the 'HOW' just notice and take it when it is put in front of you !

3.The other thing is, and this sounds simple, but believe me its not, when you are thinking of what you want, DO NOT THINK OF WHAT YOU DON'T WANT. That sounds stupid but believe me I've done it, you have a conversation going on in your head (dosn't everybody? sometimes I even answer myself, which makes me wonder sometimes WHO I'm actually talking to?' and its concentrating on what you don't want. The thing is, the universe will bring you WHAT you FOCUS on ! it dosn't hear the 'don't' and brings you that thing you don't want !

mmm who, am I talking to when that happens? well I like to think I'm talking to my higher self, probably cause they talk more sense than me, the me who is scared of this or that, I'll hear, don't be ridiculous you can do that. Of course if I hear things that are stupid or not good then I presume I'm picking up another radio station and ignore it. Sorry did I not explain that I'm like an attenni sometimes, maybe its because I don't get out much - seriously, a lot of people are so caught up in words, television etc etc, that they havn't explored what is happening within their own minds or souls via meditation and listening to the universe.

Could you ever be connnected to your own soul via television, no I don't think so, and when you start to do this excersise of what you do want it can be revealing. Sometimes, people don't know what they want, or sometimes people think they know what they want but in reality its not.

Reality is very different to an idea, reality is more about the 'feeling' of it than the 'picture' we don't live in pictures we live via what we feel, or thats the idea ! You can have an idea of a dress, but wear it and it 'feels' uncomfortable.

So, I seem to have successfully rambled on a little so have fun placing your orders! and If you need any help just let me know, maybe you have some stories of your own abundance tools or happenings I'd love to hear of them !

ps and I've just realised that number 2 should have swapped places with number 3 but hey, that's how it came out or thats how I picked it up, oh god people are going to say I need help and me a trainee counsellor ! well, you know were all human so sometimes we all need a little help :)

Re Focus

Slow down to speed up !

Well I've disbanded the real life healing evening for a while, only because its time for a re-focus, but I am still sending out healing myself and the members too, its just sometimes its good to shake things up and evolve into something else.

I feel like this is happening throughout my life too, in a positive way, its kind of re-focusing so that its possible to move further into where your thoughts are going. For me, this is in music, healing, home, what I spend my time doing.

I want to make great changes, its just that there's only me to do most of the work! and I'm talking websites and visuals here - so, you'll have to bear with me at the moment ! I will get there...eventually ! I am planning some videos to further tell you what I have in mind - hopefully the first one will be soon.

The phrase slow down to speed up is a Christine Kane one, and I think it holds much power in stopping and planning your next move. I feel like I am really looking further than an insular one, really reaching out and hopefully connecting with more like minded people, or my niche. A niche is literally that, attracting like minded people - are there really people like me out there? ! just joking

Sometimes it feels difficult to pull everything together into something, but thats what I am concentrating on - my word of December and 2011 is UNIQUE - that is me, that is my word that I am happy with and that describes me, and what I am about, it pulls it all together for me.

I am also busy with my counselling diploma, wow talk about stretching, but that is ultimately good and absolutely facsinating, I just hope I can acheive it, though to be honest failing isn't even a possibility in my world.

So, just thought I'd let you know what's happening in my world, or what's not ! prepare to be UNIQUE !

Polishing my act up !

Its funny how as an artist I will always be forever changing the way these blogs look. I can't help it, its like the way it looks has a complete history and meaning behind it. My views on how to present the Healing Circle are changing and I think its reflective on how I am changing too. I really want to get hold of this thing thats in my head ! its all about packaging isn't it, though that sounds materialistic and that is not what I'm talking about either.

You have to move with the times and I think re-packaging hones down what is going on in your head and there seems to be so much going on in mine ! I am being incredibly inspired by Christine Kane at the moment http://www.christinekane.com/ wow she is unbelievable and I love that fact that she is coming from a business and a spiritual place. I would recomend her, I feel like a sponge on her webpage trying to lap it all up.

We should be shining, we should be freeing ourselves to be the very best, meaning actualising the potential that we have or rather ARE ! I came across a few 'coaches' and I subscribed to all of them, then I was just getting so bogged down in emails that I panicked and got rid of them all except for christine, and then I concentrated on her.

Its good too, because Christine, like me, is a singer and songwriter, writes about self discovery and yet she is a coach and manages to pull all of it into one wonderful package - How did she do that? and I think that's my goal, my intention (intention is very powerful) So...there maybe changes afoot..

It points out to me how wonderfully unique we all are and the beauty of being human - One of my songs, I havn't recorded it yet and its a few years old, is called 'Wilderness' One of the lines is:

'don't you worry now cause your not alone,
don't you ever be ashamed to be human'

Maybe thats more reflective of me I don't know, the feeling more of the artist within me, that its all so entwined and complicated being human and that your always trying to explain who you are ! its probably about explaning who you are to yourself ! Maybe thats what keeps us painting or writing or pondering or photographing.

Everything is reflective and on this counselling course that becomes apparant more and more, of course it is, your own boundaries and reflections, to be an artist is to open up to every sort of 'being human' possible, it makes you vulnerable, you cannot create art without vulnerability and hopefully growth - heres to all our growth as human beings, we certainly could do with it as a whole planet !

The Observer

We listened to a CD of Deepak Chopra last night, he was talking about 'the observer' in ourselves observing, which was interesting because that was what I had been doing at college yesterday - I am a student of counselling skills (I have to term it right) We were doing some skills practice and I was an observer, (to give feedback) whilst being observed as an observer by my tutor! He quoted Abraham Maslow, which I had just quoted in an essay - its strange how coincidences happen isn't it?

Deepak was then on about the 'gap in time' between moments, how, when you realise thats what you are noticing, that then you are in universal time, or the aboriginees call it 'dreamtime'. Its the very moment when you are truly creating and communicating within the law of attraction - you are in that 'space'

Thats strange too, because nowadays, I can be working online, or in the studio, and its like time has sped up, and I'm expecting other people to be in that 'time' when their not ! I don't know if this makes any sense to you - no, I cannot explain that any more than what I said that its time within time - but its exactly what Deepak was talking about and I have the greatest respect for him as he is one of the forunners of all that we do not know mind wise at the moment!

Healing Homes

Just been reading this fantastic book called Healing Homes. Have you noticed that when you clean or de-clutter your home, the energy feels different?

Its a bit more than this though, isn't it, some homes you can feel the spirit of it, I do think its all to do with intent and what you put into your home space. To have a home without a fire would be strange to me, they do say that a fire is the heart of the home and I think it is. It is primeaval to us, fire, it is connecting in a very basic way I think.

Colours, tactile furnishings, plants, and animals give out energies. I was reading this book and then went to sleep and had this fantastic dream about a long house that just had all these huge candleabras in it creating this magical space of light and magic, just like a fairytale really!

Spring Equinox

Shangri-La

Just watched Sue Johnston's Shangri-La - Documentary in which the actress travels through south-western China to the Tibetan mountain plateau.

Wow ! it was amazing I keep thinking about it - I don't know whether it was the spiritualness of the place coming over or the effect that it had on her, but it was so moving and you could feel touch taste know 'spirit' through it - absolutely wonderful!

She's at a lake with these women who are walking turning their prayer wheels all day, then they go out into the lake on a small canoe to reach a sacred small island. The womens two daughters are singing a local song and dressed up in these amazing costumes as they go across. Sue says, although she has a very real fear of water, that she just felt complete peace. Wow, it just makes me want to go there

As she makes her way on horseback for six miles up to the plateau, she passes prayer flags all the way, she joins shamen at the top. When she gets a sight of the sacred mountain there it is just amazing and she is very emotional. The music to the prog is wonderful, its violin - must check who did it cause its brilliant.

It is really making me think about sacred places - is this the most sacred place on the earth do you think? what makes a sacred place? Is it places that man cannot usually get too so it hasn't been abused in any way? Is it because all those prayers are said from man to nature and the sentiment 'lives' there? I know sometimes when you go into very old churches they can have a magic feel sometimes. Obviously, stone circles are built where earth energies or ley lines connect and that produces a special place, there is so much that we don't understand about these energies........Any thoughts? or ideas

Maybe our Shangri-La is within ourselves?

I am really trying to FOCUS on WHAT I WANT instead of focusing on what I don't want! It is such a simple thing to do - you would think, but in actual fact it is incredibly difficult to keep up!

You can do this with just about anything:

                               SEE YOURSELF HEALTHY
                               SEE YOURSELF WEALTHY
                                  SEE YOURSELF HAPPY

You can bring into your life whatever you want or whatever you don't want! be careful what you focus on!
                 Imagin everything that you want and try to really 'feel' like youve already got them
           See yourself enjoying your i.e. new eco house, your horse, your garden, your polytunnel your life!

IMAGINE AND IT WILL BE!

I'm just imagining all this and that I am slim, healthy, prospersous, gorgeous, self fullfilled, happy and loved by myself and my family and others of course! in a beauty way!

I havn't been completely homeless, although, I suppose having no home and sleeping on friends floors for a while soon made me realise what its like to have no roots, always feeling like you are putting on other people. That was a long time ago and one experience I do not want to repeat, but I do know how difficullt it can be to get back into the 'system'

It must be unimaginable to be homeless and knowhere to go! The plight of Haiti is bad enough, but there are homeless people everywhere!

The Healing Circle met up last night, we concentrated on a wish list for the year and sent out healing as usual. Please join in with us if you can and invite your friends to join us too! The more good vibes going out there the better! All you have to do is find a quiet place and 'link' in with your thoughts, sending love to join our group, or to people that you know need healing - thats all it takes but believe me, it works!

SENDING LOVE ALWAYS WORKS!

No matter how many times this works I always seem to forget again how amazing it is! The Healing Circle felt very powerfull last night and something has happened this week to remind me how wonderful our thoughts of love are.

I know its difficult to know if anything is happening whilst you are sending love out to any situation, especially if its a situation that is not around you geographically, so you cannot receive proof of it working. Well, a situation that we sent out healing to has 'changed' in such an incredible way - I'm afraid I cannot say any details but I just wanted to tell you how effective it is. In fact, we, in the circle just decided to put the situation in the healing book.

'Our' thinking about it changed by doing that, and so that is what we were 'putting out' - hence - the whole situation changed in a wonderful way!

Love really works miracles, never underestimate it, if you have 'any problem' at all - send love to that problem - watch how it changes - I always believed that the answers were simple, sometimes we think that because its so simple, it could never work - Try it and you'll have your own proof that it works!

Haiti Earthquake

I would just like to send healing to what has happened in Haiti and the people there. I will be having a special healing this week on Tuesday evening from 8pm till 10pm. This healing circle happens every week, but in the circumstances I think its a good idea to send our thoughts to the people of this island.

What was it I said in my last post about being grateful for our cars starting up? I blame myself for my own instant manifestation and now, yes I am very grateful after waiting a few snowed in days to get out and get ourselves a new battery for the car! One day out, and then snowed in again.....

Well, it was a beautiful Blue Moon New Years Eve - fantastic! Happy New Year to you all! I have a feeling that 2010 will be a good year...I feel it in my bones!

I thought I'd write about an exercise that we do regularly in the Healing Circle (and no, we havn't been able to meet up in the last couple of weeks) The Wish List. If you draw a circle and write in it, What I Want (In a Beauty way), then, draw lines outward from the edge of the circle and write one of your dreams at the end of the line, continue thinking of what it is that you want and continue the lines around the main circle with everything that you want. This is very good, at honing in or focusing on your wants, if you can be as specific as possible the better. This does work - miraculously I find, I keep coming across old wish lists and its amazing how it does work! Oh remember to date it, so that you can look back at it.

As Esther Hicks says in Ask and It is Given, sometimes its a good idea to do one of these lists with the wants that you know you CAN do yourself, and another one for the wants that you have absolutely no idea how on earth you will get them, the second list then you will let the universe 'manager' take care of, so that you can really let go of those wants and allow the universe to do its work in manifesting them. This is because if you keep worrying about them then they will never manifest!

When our circle meets again, this is one of the first things we shall do - a good focus for the new year!

But most of all, it is the end of this year and a start to a new year, so to have the snow cleansing our way through is like a fresh start ...

Celebrating the Seasons: Winter Solstice

Winter Solstice also known as Yule, Christmas, and Saturnalia, occurs in mid December. It celebrates the birth of the new Solar year and the beginning of Winter. The Goddess manifests as the Great Mother and the God as the Sun Child. The God also appears as Santa Claus and Old Man Winter. Colors are Red, Green, and White. This is a festival of inner renewal.

Strengthen bonds with family and friends by visiting and/or exchanging gifts and greetings. Decorate your home with lights, greens, and holiday colors. Bless your home with a Yule wreath on your front door and sprigs of mistletoe inside. If you are part of a group, take up a collection of food and/or clothing at your Yule gathering and give what you collected to a social service agency to distribute to the needy. Place sunflower seeds outside for wild birds to feast upon. Greet the Sun at dawn on Solstice morning by ringing bells. Do magic for a more peaceful planet.

Testing Testing....

Yes, we did have a healing circle last night and we covered some very interesting topics of conversation as well as sending out our healing.

Protection came up again - How important is it to 'protect' yourself from negative people, sometimes you can just 'feel' their problems or their negativity encroaching on you and literally 'draining' you! I know everyone can have problems going on, but and there is a big but...it is okay for you to try and help them, but you must protect yourself first so that you don't take on that energy.

Its like, I heard a story about someone falling through the ice and someone else pulling them out, the rescuer must have one foot on the ice and one foot on the land otherwise they could both go down and what is the point of that? So it is with helping people and if it is really serious, then they should visit a counsellor for professional help.

But, meanwhile, it is a good idea for everyone to when they wake up in the morning to 'think' of themselves in a bubble of light, or with angels wings wrapped around them, or in a shower of rainbow light - however and whatever feels right to you - all you have to do is think of the bubble and then the word protection and its done - now don't tell me you havn't one minute that you cannot spare in the morning to do this!

Also do this when you are talking with someone about their problems - protect yourself!

And ho hum, I seem to be being tested at the moment with something which is not even my issue! - Yes I can feel anger, frustration, injustice and just plain annoyed by the situation or persons, but thank god for my circle group - how long did it take us to get round to COMPASSION!

There are far greater atrocities out there that have been forgiven and not bitter towards, and yes its difficult, but I know only too well that hate creates hate and love promotes love so - To be a bigger person than the perpetrator - I SEND YOU LOVE, COMPASSION, and HEALING in capital letters so that YOU will learn, grow, become a better person, help to give to this world, see the right way - Love truly does make the world go round, Love is the only way this world can change for the better this I truly believe!

Just 'Being'

I've been wanting to put some things up on here, I have loads of meditations,articles and ideas about healing but for some reason I just feel like 'being' at the moment.

I am doing loads of stuff - hey I've de-cluttered my wardrobe I bet your impressed! I started off with 4 bin bags with 'rubbish', 'charity shop', 'alter' (nice material or needs sewing), and one that said 'don't know what to do with' - that worked quite well - it is now sorted!! tidy, and I've made Jezz swear that he won't let me buy any more clothes ! (mmm is that so good? not too sure about that one!) Well...I suppose I'll have to do the one new in, old one out idea.

But now...and its a full moon today...it just feels good just to 'BE' - no pressure, potter around, think, see, listen, write and just be in the moment...I just think sometimes, and I am the worst one for this, of it being all work and no play, you know the sort of work that has to be done, sometimes you could just carry on and on until you go STOP and just be...

How will you notice that beautiful sunset if you are too busy? or smell the clear frosty air of the winter, or feel cosy and warm inside by the fire ? So...thats what I felt compelled to write today, and no, I am not getting caught up by Christmas, I never really have I am going to attempt to make a few things for presents- simple things, out of all the nice materials I found in my wardrobe ! there's re-cycling for you!...but that will be on another day!

I am so......Gratefull

We've been discussing gratitude and how sometimes going through hardship in one way or another can really lead you back to this. I think it is essential to be gratefull for what we have. In this materialistic world where we are fed so much 'must have's', it is so good to 'think' about what you do really need, what you are very lucky in having, or being.

It sometimes leads you back to the most important things in life which are: (and of course, this is my list! and my thinking!) people, friends, family, the simple things of life - like peace of mind and the most complicated like, this wonderful earth - how complicated is that! how abused is it and how we don't stop and think of thanking this organic living planet that sustains us.

So....no, I don't want to get on to the negative, I want to make a point of being gratefull for my lovely family and friends, where I live - such a beautiful place - at the moment 'Blessed Water' - thank you for my well water so pure, thank you for making me into a thinking person, endevouring, creating, learning all the time, and trying to be positive all the time!

If we bring this vibration into our lives, of being gratefull, if you did this all day long, you would change your vibration to a positive one, mentally and physically, its our thoughts that create our world - well thats what I believe....

We were talking last night in the healing group about 'protection'. Sometimes, its not only our homes that need 'smudging' or clearing spiritually, but ourselves too! I use white sage, just burn a little and waft it around yourself - thinking of clearing any negativity from yourself.

We can pick up negativity from other people or harsh conditions or elements - its all energy, cleanse yourself of that debris that may be sticking to your energy. If you try this you will notice the difference, as indeed you will smudging your home too. And don't forget to do this regularly. I clean and I smudge the whole house at the same time.

The other thing is, that we are putting out energy and recieving back what we are asking for: If you keep saying 'no no I don't want this' - you are actually doing the opposite and attracting it - whatever you 'focus' on you will attract back to yourself.

Yes, I know this is a difficult concept to get your head around, but it is true. Focus on beauty, lets focus on peace and love and put that anger away, I know it can be difficult sometimes, but try changing the focus to what you want ....and calm....
